The front door on Anthony’s house is enormous compared to the size of the house. We find out the reason for this later on in the book.

Clue :  its something to do with the cryptid.

There is a sapphire colored doorknob; its a real jewel although the family don’t know that.

The ironwork on the door is actually a letter clue to the previous owner of the house.
